She is the House Co-chair for the Legislature's Criminal Justice Reform Caucus, where she works with fellow legislators, staff, and activists to advocate for increased protections and services for incarcerated individuals, reforms to the criminal legal system, and to institute policies that both address the systemic precursors to incarceration and mitigate recidivism.

In addition to criminal justice reform, her policy priorities include education, affordable housing, fair labor and wage practices, arts and culture, and environmental justice.
